For nearly ten years, Cynthia was well known in her community as the mom who made all the great chocolate treats. In the winter of 2004, Cynthia and her husband, Doug, inspired by the popularity of her toffee, caramel pretzels and truffles, opened Cynthia's Sweets in Grayslake, Illinois.
Handcrafting all their homemade chocolates personally, these two University of Illinois graduates have found their passion. Cyndy is the mastermind behind the creative presentation of chocolates and tantalizing truffles. A mechanical engineer, Doug now proudly carries the title of Chief Toffee Maker.
